Online Premarital Counseling in Washington
Build your strong foundation before “I do”
Feeling uncertain about what marriage really means? Worried about navigating tough conversations, misunderstandings, or differences before you say “I do”?
Premarital Counseling is designed to help you and your partner build a strong foundation — so you can face the challenges of married life with confidence and connection.
The transition into marriage (or committed partnership) brings new roles, expectations, and pressures. Without a solid foundation, many couples find themselves repeating patterns, feeling misunderstood, or drifting apart.
What I offer:
At Fen & Fir Counseling in Spokane (offering online sessions across Washington), our 10-session Premarital Counseling Package guides couples through the relationship pieces that matter most — so you walk into this new chapter feeling confident, connected, and aligned.
Over 10 sessions, you’ll walk through modules grounded in respected research (such as the Gottman Sound Relational House). Topics include:
Communication: how to listen and be heard.
Conflict: how to fight fair and avoid destructive patterns.
Shared goals: defining what you want your life together to look like.
Values & vision: clarifying what matters most to both of you.
Commitment & trust: building emotional safety and long-term resilience.
But what if traditional premarital counseling doesn’t quite fit our story?
Maybe you don’t identify with a particular faith, or legal marriage isn’t your goal — but you still want to deepen your commitment and feel supported in your relationship.
I created Fen & Fir Counseling to offer an space where all couples can explore what commitment means for them, without fear of judgment or assumptions.
If you’re looking for support in this season of your relationship, this space is for you.
