Call for Connection
There are so many things calling for our attention, pulling us away from ourselves. Thus, promoting connection is a cornerstone of my practice.
Call for connection is an opportunity to turn towards -- yourself, your loved ones, your environment, or whatever else you may be needing.
What might happen if we decide to pause and connect?
Small steps can lead to big changes. To begin building connection with yourself, open up awareness. What do you notice?
Recognizing that some of these answers may hold pain or discomfort, practice listening to yourself. Without the urge to change or solve, just notice.
As you wrap up your check-in, you can offer yourself some small support. Maybe what you need is a stretch, a deep breath, a hug, or a snack.
While none of these are going to miraculously change your way of being, this small gesture is a way to practice self-attunement -- listening to your cues and responding with supportive action.
